What are the fees associated with my donation?

Our fees vary between 3.75-5.5% per transaction, and depend on the CanadaHelps tool that the charity is using to process your donation. View the full list of our tools and fees.

Overall, just 1.8% of your donation (included in the fees mentioned previously) goes to CanadaHelps to enable us to continue to build new and innovative online fundraising tools for charities at the best non-commercial rates. The remainder of the fee goes to cover costs we incur for processing these donations.
